Time and again over the past decades, the German Music Competition has provided a platform for outstanding chamber music ensembles. For many years, GENUIN, the German Music Council, and Deutschlandfunk Kultur have presented these ensembles through distinguished CD productions. Here we are introduced to the highly promising Trio E.T.A.: Elene Meipariani (violin), Nadja Reich (cello), and Till Hoffmann (piano), performing works by Joseph Haydn, Roman Pawollek, and Bedřich Smetana. Piano trio playing at its finest, featuring a beautifully balanced programme that combines Classical elegance, passionate Romanticism, and exciting musical discoveries.
